Created in July 2012, DFD designs and commercializes innovative processes for decontamination, cleaning, recycling, degreasing using supercritical CO2 as a sustainable and ecological technology. The company is located in Clermont – Ferrand, part of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, in FRANCE. «We coach Industrial Companies finding THE convenient solution for their cleaning and decontamination requirements. Our green chemistry process uses supercritical CO2 to ensure efficiency and industrial profitability.
Our ambition is to be recognized worldwide as the leader in cleaning and decontamination equipment using supercritical CO2, making them accessible and profitable in operating costs, including consumables, maintenance and depreciation.» This technology, combined with the DFD expertise, offers manufacturers a unique ecological alternative to water & detergent or solvent (chlorinated or derived from hydrocarbons) processes used for parts and textile cleaning in industry (mechanic, medical, etc.).
DFD will be in charge in PHOTORAMA of the conception and assembly of the delamination machine using CO2 supercritical technology for the delamination of PV Panels. The design will be specially adapted to treat PV modules by reducing the final autoclave size and cost.
Role(s) / Task(s) in project Based on the knowledge and know-how of its internal design office (5 people), DFD will provide the corresponding piping and instrumentation diagram (PID) as well as electrical plan. Plans for all pressurized equipment as well as plans for chassis and additional equipments (i.e. heat exchanger, separators, etc.) will be also realized by DFD using Solidworks software. DFD has already a relevant experience in this technology with the assembly and sale of 8 machines and the protection of the internal functioning of these machines by three patents registered by DFD. Use and programming of PLCs are also under the responsibility of our systems engineer (2 people). Machines are designed to fit tightly with the production rates, by increasing the number of cleaning vessels up to four. Our equipment is custom made. DFD technology fully complies with health, safety and environmental regulations
